Our standard definition decoder line is now available in four models, which range from the SDM230 (with unbalanced analog-only outputs) to the SDM290e (with delivery of up to eight embedded audio channels).
All four decoders share ground breaking advances—from high-speed random access and display of any I-Frame to frame-accurate, synchronized playback across multiple decoders—those applications can deliver a level of performance that previously simply was not possible.
Easy Integration. The Stradis Application Program Interface (API) for Windows makes it fast and easy to integrate Stradis decoders into video systems, and gives applications complete control over all decoder functions. The API supports up to 16 Stradis decoders in a single computer with synchronized playback among all cards.
Professional Performance. Stradis decoders provide continuous, frame-accurate, seamless back-to-back playback of all standard MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 streams, decodes 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 video at up to 50 Mbps. They are available in models that generate audio and video output in both analog and uncompressed digital formats. Now the new HDM500e High-Definition MPEG-2 Decoder delivers comparable performance in applications requiring High-Definition.
Easy Integration. The Stradis Application Programming Interface (API)for Windows makes integrating the HDM500e into video systems fast and easy, and gives applications complete control over all HDM500e functions. The API supports multiple HDM500e decoders in a single computer with synchronized playback across all cards.
Professional Performance. The Stradis HDM500e High-Definition MPEG-2 Decoder decodes MP@HL (4:2:0) video at up to 80 Mbps. It provides continuous, frame-accurate, seamless back-to-back playback of all standard MPEG-2 streams. The HDM500e decodes 1920x1080i, 1280x720p, 720x576p, 720x576i, 720x480p or 720x480i streams and outputs them scaled to 720p or 1080i.
HDM500e applications include playback from disk for server applications and real-time decoding from a satellite or terrestrial network.
Multiple Video Outputs. The HDM500e High-Definition MPEG-2 Decoder has three video outputs for maximum flexibility. Use the High-Definition Serial Digital Interface (SMPTE 292M) video output and the Digital Visual Interface (DVI) or the analog RGB (or YPbPr) output. It can also display the video image on the computer's VGA monitor (in lower resolution to conserve PCI bus bandwidth)

HDM850 is the latest High Definition decoding product from Stradis. It supports multiple formats, including MPEG-2 and H.264 codecs. The HDM850 supports continuous, frame-accurate, seamless back-to-back playback. Adding the support for all common video formats outputs from SD to 3G over SDI and HDMI, it meets your decoding needs from today and beyond. .

The Stradis software developer kit (SDK) includes drivers, example programs showing the use of many features, example application source code, extensive documentation, and the Stradis application program interface (API) for Windows.
The Stradis API makes it fast and easy to integrate Stradis decoders into video systems, and gives applications complete control over all decoder functions. The API supports up to 16 Stradis decoders in a single computer, with synchronized playback among all cards.
Stradis licenses its SDK/API on an annual basis to developers building systems with Stradis MPEG-2 video decoders. A current SDK/API license is required for access to Stradis developer support.
