Advanced Features
High performance DMA to system memory or direct to graphics memory with scatter gather
On board processor for real time mode and sync detection
When used with the Datapath range of graphics adapters, the CPU load is negligible even if the image is being upscaled to a video wall, resulting in real time performance
The VisionSD4+1 captures data at a maximum pixel rate of 340MHz. Once captured, the data is converted to either 555, 565 or 888 pixel and YUV modes display formats and then transferred over the PCI bus to host memory, for display on the desktop
Dynamic Input Source Selection
Administrator Mode
Update Indicator
The VisionSD4+1 application program is also built into the Datapath Wall Control software for video wall systems
Video Walls
The Vision range of capture cards are fully integrated with the Datapath family of Video Wall display products. The VisionSD4+1 captures the display output (component HD, HDMI, analog RGB or single link DVI) from one source and then displays it as an independent application on your Video Wall. This is done in real time, enabling you to view data from PCs, MACs, industrial/medical equipment, cameras and other video equipment.
The VisionSD4+1 has a DVI connector for feeding an independent data source directly into your main PC. The VisionSD4+1 captures the HD/HDMI/RGB/DVI data and stores it in an on-board video buffer. This data is then copied using Direct Memory Access (DMA) to the host system for display.
The VisionSD4+1 has a powerful software application to automatically configure the timing and the format of the input source and display the captured data.
The VisionSD4+1, a stand alone PCIe x4 plug in card, delivers extreme performance with 480MB/s transfer bus bandwidth. This industry beating performance makes the Vision series ideal for a wide range of applications including:
Medical Imaging: Capture legacy RGB modalities
Multi-display presentation software: Recommended by industry leaders Dataton WATCHOUT™
Digital Signage: Integrated by C-nario into their world class, open platform digital signage software solutions
Machine Vision: Acquire high resolution camera outputs
Voyage Data recorders: Capture radar images
Simulation/Military: Acquire high resolution video and simulation for command and control
