Easy Integration. The Stradis Application Programming Interface (API)for Windows makes integrating the HDM500ex into video systems fast and easy, and gives applications complete control over all HDM500ex functions. The API supports multiple HDM500ex decoders in a single computer with synchronized playback across all cards.
Professional Performance. The Stradis HDM500ex High-Definition MPEG-2 Decoder decodes MP@HL (4:2:0) video at up to 80 Mbps. It provides continuous, frame-accurate, seamless back-to-back playback of all standard MPEG-2 streams. The HDM500ex decodes 1920x1080i, 1280x720p, 720x576p, 720x576i, 720x480p or 720x480i streams and outputs them scaled to 720p or 1080i.
HDM500ex applications include playback from disk for server applications and real-time decoding from a satellite or terrestrial network.
Multiple Video Outputs. The HDM500ex High-Definition MPEG-2 Decoder has three video outputs for maximum flexibility. Use the High-Definition Serial Digital Interface (SMPTE 292M) video output and the Digital Visual Interface (DVI) or the analog RGB (or YPbPr) output. It can also display the video image on the computer's VGA monitor (in lower resolution to conserve PCI bus bandwidth).

HDM850
HDM850 is the latest High Definition decoding product from Stradis. It supports multiple formats, including MPEG-2 and H.264 codecs. The HDM850 supports continuous, frame-accurate, seamless back-to-back playback. Adding the support for all common video formats outputs from SD to 3G over SDI and HDMI, it meets your decoding needs from today and beyond.
The HDM850 brings new features to ease the integration
of your solution, it features alpha-blended full-frame on screen display, a
video input for live video content insertion, and brings standard and high
definition content decoding compatibility. The HDM850 also features dual outputs
enabling the ability to simultaneously output the same video in two formats (decoding
support of a SD and HD versions of the same content).
The HDM850 uses a hybrid hardware/software decoding
engine that allows flexibility to support future codecs. It also uses a similar
Application Programming Interface as current Stradis products, allowing current
Stradis customers to migrate with minimal integration effort.
